Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website hotherts.site and any engagement with Hot Air Herts Ltd. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by Hot Air Herts Ltd, registered in England & Wales, with its address at 2nd Floor, 4 Finkin Street, Grantham, Lincolnshire, England, NG31 6QZ, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] or +48 884 958 436.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. All content is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. Information provided
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice. Any proposal or quotation is subject to a written agreement.
3a. What we do not do
“Hot Air” is part of our registered company name and is not a description of our services. We do not operate hot air balloons or any aircraft, we do not sell or arrange balloon flights, pleasure flights, passenger flights or any other air transport, and we are not an air operator. Carrying passengers for reward by air is a licensed activity and is not something we hold ourselves out as doing.
Our activities are organised for adults. We do not provide activities for children or for adults at risk. Work with children or adults at risk is regulated activity carrying safeguarding, enhanced disclosure and supervision obligations, and we do not undertake it through this website or otherwise unless those obligations are in place and the engagement expressly covers them. Participants take part in physical activity at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring that they are fit to do so and for disclosing any relevant condition before taking part; nothing on this website is medical, health or fitness advice.
3b. Bookings, sites and responsibility
Scope, numbers, dates, location and fees are agreed in writing before a booking is confirmed, and changes are quoted separately. Activities depend on the site, the weather and the permissions available, and may be altered, postponed or cancelled where it is not safe or lawful to proceed; where that happens we will say so rather than press on. Landowner consent, any licence or permission the activity requires and the relevant insurance must be in place before an activity takes place, and responsibility for a venue, for its facilities and for statutory duties rests with the party on whom the law places it. Nothing in these terms transfers a duty the law puts on someone else, and nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing on this website is advice for your particular situation.
4. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
